Selection of a Tree: The Renfroe Method

Remember how we prepared for Christmas last year? Well we are back again this year for all of you last minute elves that need help deckin' (Troy-style) your halls.
Let's start with tree selection:

Well, if you live in this town, you head up to Terracotta on Thanksgiving Day.
Side note: Al and I have only had one tree that wasn't from Buddy's tree farm. We have even driven trees from his farm to our home(s) in neighboring states:

They didn't open until 3. We got there early because, according to Al's grandfather, they were going to be "packed" this year, due to early advertising. So, because of their ability to leap a chain link fence in a single bound, we sent the kids on in. Here is a pic of Cade sharkin' out the best trees for us.
Don't worry, that lady isn't going to steal his tree, but, just to be sure, he peed on it.

Haha! Made you look!

Brother documented the whole experience for us.

In the end, they chose this one
Taye tied it up for us, we threw her on the tractor and we were off

Just kidding about the tractor thing. Who knows why Brother thought this tractor was important? Maybe because this was the ONLY thing Taye asked for from Santa last year. Obviously, we are letting Bryant and Amy use it for commercial purposes.

The kids Christmas list this year?
Glad you asked.
Dumplin' just wants Christmas dinner.

Mam wants a doll house and princess anything

Taye has continued with his theme of "Perfectly Practical Gifts Santa will NEVER bring"
He asked for a real Rhinocerous and a Cheese Cracker

ST, in all seriousness, asked for his own apartment.
Guess he figured if the rhino was in, he was out. Me too, bud, as long as the apartment has waterfront views.
Or, we could just forget the apartment and buy a second home. This one was recently (and perfectly) decorated by Pink Wallpaper. Pretty Please Santa, I have been REALLY good this year. And brother, well, he has never had his bear moved, and last week, on his behavior report, he got all 5s.
