Getting Ready for Christmas

Well, the boys are busy preparing themselves for Christmas:

This picture is ST, making his list and checking it twice.....
He also is "learning" the words to popular Christmas carols. Today, while singing Away in a Manger, in all seriousness, he asked Al, "Daddy, what happens after the cows throw the baby away? Does He cry?" After Al told him he didn't know what he was talking about, ST cleared it up for him. "Dad, Parker and Tal's mommy SAID, you sing the song like this, (tune of Away in a Manger) 'The cattle are throwing the baby away!' I need to know, does he cry or does he not cry?" Al said, "Well man, I guess not, the next words are, 'but little Lord Jesus, NO crying He makes.'"

And, Santa's helper a.k.a Taye, he loads his backpack up every night and asks us, "What all ya'll want for Christmas?" We have to 'guess' something that is in his backpack. He usually responds with a, "No, that's mine. Guess something else." I guess good help is hard to come by these days, even for Santa...

I am glad you got this thing up... I get to see the adventures of the Renfroe household first hand most of the time but there is always something that I miss since i am not there 24/7. Love the potty shot. You will be really glad you did it. I don't know if i will ever be as good as all you blog folks when my kiddo gets here. maybe, just maybe.

I am so glad to know I have such positive influence over your children. I need to remind them to only sing their songs with me so we won't get in trouble (Ha!Ha!). Thanks for sharing your blog. It really is GREAT!
