There's Something FISHY Going On Around Here!

Happy Valentine's Day from the Renfroe's. This year I made Valentine's Day surpises and fun follow a fishing theme for our little "(great)CATCH of the day" kiddos.

We had a blast making these little fish. The body, tail, fins and eyes are all different sized hearts. This is a great activity for kids of all ages. Older kids can cut the hearts themselves. Just give the younger kids a glue stick and they can go to town!

The kids all received tackle boxes filled with treats. The gummy worms, sweedish fish, nerds
(fish food) and gummy sea creatures were a hit!

.
Here are some of the outsides of the boxes with little fish magnet games on the tops:

Dumplin' loved her tackle box filled with goldfish crackers. It said "We are hooked on You."

For the dinner table, we also made the little fish for the goldfish bowl centerpeices. Letting the kids help make the fish was a fun "hint" for what their Valentine treats would be.

For dinner, we are going to have fish-sticks, shells and cheese and something green that I will come up with at the last minute.

After dinner it's Family Game Night: Go Fish Edition, and Finding Nemo! Fun. Fun. Happy Valentine's Day.

How cute! You're so creative. I may have to "borrow" the fishing theme sometime!
