Our Weekend Indoors

Well, Al has accused me of being lost in "blog world" this weekend. Upon realizing that he is probably right, here is my list of excuses: 1: it is partly his fault, as I am learning to use the new camera he gave me for Christmas, 2: this nasty (but much needed) weather has kept us inside all weekend, and Noggin network is kind of making me crazy! 3: This is way better than taking down the tree!

Al has been hard at work all weekend on the ugly house. (Which, should be excuse #4.) My friend Jessica and I stopped by on Saturday to check on the progress. Al had gotten annoyed with the 70 year old plaster on the walls and was in the process of tearing it down. I need to go ahead and say that tearing down the plaster was NOT on the list of things to do, and you would not believe the mess. Jess wanted to know, "Who cleans all this up?" I don't know, Al, "Who cleans all that up?" hmmm....

Anyway, the kids and I had a great weekend in our pjs...reading books, playing with Christmas toys, watching Noggin (I guess).

This week I will post a few pics of all of the demo on the house, but, for now here is a few of the kids... The first one is of the boys...watching Noggin... I am so thankful that they love each other's company so much. Al and I have prayed long and hard (and continue to) that ST and Taye would find in each other a friend that is closer than a brother. Thank you Jesus, for these sweet boys and their bond with each other...

And Miss Mam...Ya'll, she is definitely a girl after my own heart! Not only has she already developed a love of furniture, but, check out her way cool boots!
